About

Ada Jane Behn is the pen name of a Texas-based writer exploring human connection, longing, and joy. Her Romato Chips series blends humor, intimacy, and emotional resonance across seventy-five stories, each with its own distinct flavor — Sweet, Spicy, or Salty.

The name pays homage to empowered women of the past, especially Aphra Behn, the 17th-century writer celebrated by Virginia Woolf:

“All women together ought to let flowers fall upon the tomb of Aphra Behn, for it was she who earned them the right to speak their minds.”

Behn writes with the conviction that there is a need for stories where women claim their autonomy, embrace desire, and resist being pushed back into the confines of outdated expectations. These stories are playful, bold, and deeply human — for readers ready to savor freedom in all its flavors.
